MARTY BACIK

Marty is a lifelong resident of the South Hills, growing up in Upper St. Clair after being born in Mt. Lebanon, and eventually buying his first (and hopefully last) house in Mt. Lebanon. A lifelong athlete, Marty is passionate about making Mt. Lebanon as enjoyable and healthy as possible for everyone on foot or on wheels.
A software engineer by day, Marty is focused on utilizing data and technology to make Mt. Lebanon the best it can be. Marty currently serves on the Financial Advisory Board for Mt. Lebanon, and on the Policy and Street Design subcommittees of the Transportation and Mobility Advisory Board.
Marty’s dream for Mt. Lebanon is to create ‘The Loop’, a continuous, protected, trail that wraps around Mt. Lebanon and connects to Mt. Lebanon businesses (and maybe has a few pull up bars along the way).
SEAN BATTIS
BOARD MEMBER SINCE 2024
Sean has been a resident of Mt. Lebanon since 2015, but has lived in the South Hills for the majority of his life. He is an avid and competative runner and cyclist. After a career as a software developer, Sean now coaches athletes of all ages and abilities. Sean has served on Mt. Lebanon's Environmental Sustainability Board and Traffic Board.
Sean's priorities for change include right-sizing our roads with safer pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, walkable amenities in our community, automated traffic enforcement, and better transparency and input for the public into the processes that decide how our infrastructure is designed, built, and funded.

After stints in NYC, Cincinnati, Seattle, Berlin, LA, and Bangkok; Joel moved to Mt Lebanon in 2022. He’s a long-time bike rider, transit nerd, and lived car-free for 5 years before moving to Pittsburgh. Having experienced the benefits of life in human-scaled cities, Joel is a strong advocate for walking, biking, and reliable transit to drive gains in equity, economic vitality, and climate resiliency.
Joel has a background in industrial design, and is currently Events & Experience Design Manager for a leading footwear brand. Joel believes good design has the power to make our streets more resilient, safer, and bring a sense of pride to folks who live or visit there.
At Move Lebo, Joel oversees branding and creative direction as well as working with the team to envision future-states for our streets. When he’s not designing, he can be found trying out the latest restaurants with wife Marissa or waving a feather toy around for his cat, Penny.
SETH DAVIS
BOARD MEMBER SINCE 2024
Seth is the Manager of Corridor Planning with Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT). He executes the corridor projects identified in PRT’s long-range plan NEXTransit. His current projects include Project Zero (PRT’s 1st holistic Facilities Master Plan) and Project R (Homestead to McKeesport Transit Corridor Upgrades), amongst multiple coordination efforts with PRT project partners across Allegheny County. Before joining PRT, Seth spent over a decade providing master planning support to the Department of Defense.
Seth obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University with a minor in Architectural History. He is the current chair of the Mt. Lebanon Mobility board, having had prior stints on Mt. Lebanon’s Economic Development Council, the Dormont Planning Commission, and the Dormont Stormwater Authority. Seth maintains a Professional Landscape Architecture License, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and is an Envision Sustainability Professional.
ANDREW FLYNN
BOARD MEMBER SINCE 2024
Andrew is the Commissioner for Ward 5 in Mt. Lebanon, an active volunteer with many civically focused organizations, and an avid mobility advocate. He has spent his professional career helping state and local governments build for the future by helping them develop and implement organizational and financial strategies to make government more responsive and fiscally resilient.
As a Commissioner in Mt. Lebanon, he spearheaded the adoption of the 2022 Complete Streets policy that sets the foundational process for transportation for the future and considers the entire right-of-way beyond the transportation focused infrastructure and uses a holistic approach to address utility service delivery, stormwater, air quality, tree canopy, and quality of life improvements in each project. He also led adoption of the 2022 Comprehensive Climate Resolution that mobilizes "efforts to promote a resilient and sustainable community.” Among the items covered in resolution are commitments to have community-wide net-zero carbon emissions before 2050, the commitment to continue having municipal facilities use 100 percent renewable energy and the commitment to updating the Climate Action Plan at least every 10 years.
BETH MCCABE

Beth is a freelance photographer and small business owner. After living abroad in Switzerland, she returned home to Pittsburgh and earned a Masters in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on administration and policy studies, place-based education and community capacity building.
She is a founding member of Move Lebo. She serves on Mt. Lebanon’s Transportation and Mobility Advisory Board and the Activate Uptown Steering Committee. In addition, she is the chair of the Washington Elementary School Learning Garden where she recently led a redesign of the space. She's committed to creating safer walking conditions for children and placemaking in our community.
She is an avid cyclist and gardener. She can often be found riding around Mt. Lebanon with her two kids on the back of their yellow e-bike, Forsythia or hanging with the gnomes in the school garden.
JUSTIN MCCABE

Justin is passionate about connecting dots and bringing diverse stakeholders together to solve common challenges.
After growing up in Pittsburgh's northern suburbs, Justin moved to rural Japan where he taught English to local children and adults. Not ready to come home, he joined the Peace Corps in Mozambique as a teacher trainer. After more than 5 years abroad, Justin returned to Pittsburgh where he earned his Masters in International Development from GSPIA at the University of Pittsburgh. While at Pitt, he loved his car-free lifestyle and explored many corners of the city on his classic 10-speed. He also met his spouse, a South Hills native, who would eventually encourage him to cross the north/south divide and move to Mt. Lebanon…one of the best decisions he ever made!
Justin currently serves as Business Development and Operations Manager for the MedAccred program at the Performance Review Institute. He is also a member of SAE International’s CEO Council on DEI. When Justin is not discussing traffic calming strategies with his spouse or playing daddy alligator or chess with his two kiddos, you can probably find him running on one of Mt. Lebanon’s 86 miles of roads, listening to a podcast, or working in the yard.
JENN RICK
BOARD MEMBER SINCE 2024
Jenn is a former scientist who has spent her career working at or assisting biotech start-up companies. She grew up in the beautiful Laurel Highlands and earned degrees at the University of Pittsburgh and Johns Hopkins University. After many years in the DC metro area, she returned to Pittsburgh and has worked for Fisher Scientific, the Pittsburgh Technology Council and spent several years in Rep Dan Miller's District Office. Jenn now serves as the Community Manager for the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Alliance.
Jenn lives in Mt. Lebanon with her husband and two teenage children. She has served as a board member of the Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy, the municipality's Environmental Sustainability Board, a PTA volunteer, LeboGreen volunteer, a former Girl Scout leader and a member of Women in Bio. Jenn enjoys being outdoors - gardening, hiking, biking, skiing and photographing lighthouses. She is passionate about serving her community and devoted to sustainability, environmental and health issues.
Morgan sulik

Morgan Sulik works as an engineer in West Mifflin, Pa and lives in Sunset Hills. She enjoys nature and being outside, and comes into the active transportation world through her environmental work. Morgan is also an active leader in LeboGreen, an environmental group in Mt. Lebanon and organizer of the local Earth Day celebration.
During a personal effort to pick a more sustainable transportation option for local errands, she learned firsthand the obstacles that exist to a safe and comfortable experience when biking, walking, or taking transit. Since then, she's been a passionate advocate for design changes to provide real freedom when choosing how to move around Mt. Lebanon.
KIRILL TROPIN
BOARD MEMBER SINCE 2024
Kirill is a technology product manager passionate about pedestrian-friendly streets, active lifestyle, and vibrant small businesses. Having lived in four countries and visited 40+, he embraces the benefits of walkable cities, often logging 25k+ steps a day when living in Europe.
Kirill has served on the Bellevue, WA Transportation Commission and currently serves on the Resiliency Board in Mt. Lebanon. His commitment to human-powered mobility stems from a belief that vibrant, walkable neighborhoods are key to healthier, more connected communities.
